Technical Merchant Support Engineer (Division Payment & Risk)

For its subsidiary Wirecard Technologies GmbH, Aschheim, we are seeking to strengthen our team. 

Your tasks

  • Integration support with regard to our product platform
  • Configuration of various set-ups in our systems
  • Support for the automation of set-up processes (using scripting, like Perl, VBA etc.)
  • Documentation of solutions developed for customer support
  • Control and monitoring of customer communication and escalation messages
  • Direct customer contact for technical and product-specific questions or issues (2nd level support)
  • On-call service at night and at weekends


Your profile

  • A good to very good understanding of technical issues
  • Basic knowledge of at least one programming language
  • Basic knowledge of databases
  • Basic knowledge of XML would be advantageous
  • Professional experience in the IT sector would be beneficial
  • Independent analytical approach and work ethic
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Knowledge of other languages would be advantageous
